Day 06: In Leh – excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis.
After breakfast proceed for full day excursion of Indus valley Monasteries. Thiksey Gompa (3,600 m), Hemis
Monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, which is one of the biggest in this region & the Shey Monastery and Shey Palace
complex are structures located on a hillock which was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Leh-Nubra Valley 120kms/4-5hrs
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road
in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel/camp. After enjoying lunch proceed to
enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes
between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay at Hotel / Camp.
Day 08: Nubra Valley – Leh 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs
After breakfast, visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), it is a picturesque monastery settled atop a hill and offers an
over-whelming view of Nubra Valley. Later, drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 09: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh 280 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs
After early Breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via Changla Pass 17,350 ft, this is the third highest
motorable road in the world. Pangong is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by India and China. Enjoy
the beauty of the lake. The different hues of blue and green contrast beautifully with the monotonous back drop of
barren brown and grey mountains. In the afternoon drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 10: Departure Leh – Delhi
In time pickup from hotel and drop to Airport to board flight for Delhi.
